Have a 1994 ford f250 460.My question is my fuel filter wont come out of the hose.I got one side out out but not the other.I have a feeling its the metal clip thats inside the hose causeing the problems.Second question is can i buy the replacemeant clips or am i going to have to go to junk yar and get them.
Are you using the correct size line removal tool? Did you spray the connectors down with some good penetrating oil? Did you bleed the pressure off of the fuel lines? They are tough to get off, I still ended up with gas on me the first time I did mine!
I spray some PB Blaster in those garter springs, wait a few minutes then use the cheapo plastic fuel line tool to pop them loose. I have a fancy set of metal fuel line removers, but I found the plastic ones to work better.
