Happy second day of October! Today is the day (hopefully) that my second F150 arrives! They charged my card this morning, so that is a good sign.

I am on. We got over a half inch of rain for the Friday/Saturday non-rain event.

No such luck. And the company is not responding to texts. Calling them gets me instant voicemail. They have not charged my card though, so I guess that is a plus. But they told me towing it today would not be no problem...

This sort of thing happens every day. Every day in Los Angeles, that is.

If not now, when? I get it. Autonomous vehicles have to operate in the real world, in order to build up real world algorithms. That is the only way that artificial intelligence improves.

Only problem is the collateral damage. Simple mathematics. These cars have to kill enough people, before they are capable of not killing people.

Talked to the driver who is going to pick up the F150. He stated he will be in the Bay area tomorrow after 2pm to get it, and he will be here in Fresno Friday morning to deliver it. Finally. Maybe now I will not get anymore texts from the seller except to tell me it has been picked up. I will never do this again...

nom nom nom That's the sound of the men working in the chain gang la la la. Nothing to report here, and based on the last four posts, it seems nothing to report in the rest of northern California.

Finally. A driver came out and towed the truck away from Milpitas!
No tailgate, and not a 4x4, but I don't care. Just want the engine, and front bumper. Maybe the hood. I also think I will swap the wheels with mine if my mechanics have a way of doing it. Left rear looks like it has cuts in the sidewall. well know more when it gets here.

Had a little exciting yesterday with work. May be seeing a new project, but who knows.

The link has video of the collision.

It looks like people are finally paying attention. Biden is not the person who they think they voted for. While I'm down here at City Hall, I thought I heard chants of "Build That Wall" as everyone was paying their respects to The Departed.
