The horn relay (located INSIDE of the fuse panel, not serviceable) is wigging out. It clicks of and on constantly when the engine is running. It will click for about 20 seconds after it's shut off and then will stop. If a door is opened (lights go on) it will click for about 20 seconds and stop. If I hold the horn button down, the clicking with stop. If it's not clicking and I push the horn, I can hear it click once like you would expect it to normally.
The horn itself doesn't work.
Started randomly one day when I was pulling fuses trying to find a battery drain... Would love to figure this out and get the horn working while I'm at it. Any suggestions?
I don't think so. I started when I was messing with fuses on the panel. I guess anything's possible?
That's a pretty common fail point. check your horn and make sure it makes noise. If not it could be a combo horn/button. When my button failed my horn burned out. Had to replace both.
My horn does not make noise, but I know the button is working because when I push on it, the clicking stops. Or, if I've waited long enough for the clicking to stop after I've shut the engine off, I and push on the horn, and I hear the relay clicking like it should.
