I want to add some anti freeze to my 1998 club wagon with a 5.4 engine - want to make sure I add the right stuff - the owners manual states to use E2F2-19549-AA - I can't find any reference to that number on any brand of antifreeze - does anyone know if this stuff is the xylene glycol that older cars use - like Prestone which states that it is compatible with all other antifreezes - would appreciate your thoughts on this - thanks - Joe
I think you mean E2FZ. I believe that’s gold colored coolant of which Zerex G-05 is compatible. That’s what came in our fleet maintained ‘07. I don’t recall anything that color from Prestone or Peak.
