2016 Expedition
My 2016 Expedition 3.5L V6 Ecoboost would not start after the football game this past Friday. So here is what is going on, I went to start the truck and all the display lights lit up and then went off, and the car wouldn't start. The headlights were blinking on/off really fast, brake lights lit up but were really weak. I have placed it in neutral by using the mechanical release on the console shifter to see if I could start it that way, but no success. I have replaced the battery and tested it with a multimeter and it checks out good. I have traced all the battery wires to see if there was a short and found none. I did the same with the wiring harness and did not find any broken wires and wire shorting out. This has been a real head scratcher. My current status is waiting on a friend to bring their car scanner to see if there are any codes. This is currently what the car does when trying to start it. The displays all come on and then go off, the navigation display (sometimes) turns on, windows controls do not work, car lock switches do not work, no a/c heater controls work, brake lights work but are weak, no reverse lights, cannot start with fob and lastly it just won't start. Any suggestions?
