Electrical Gremlin

Figured id make this post in case anyone else starts to experience something similar -

Came out of the blue. 2020 Ford Expedition custom ordered from factory (ie wasn't sitting on the lot for months before we got it). Approximately a year or so after taking delivery, the car experienced a no start, along with flickering lights, relays that would act up, and any other electrical nightmare you can think of all simultaneously. Take it to the dealer and after a day or so, it was determined the negative battery terminal had worked itself loose and thus made the hiccups appear intermittently. We thought that was the end of it, but this past Friday, approximately a month after the first time it happened again. We had made a few stops in the morning. Got in the car to head back home and suddenly had a flickering center screen, and the green light on push to start was blinking. Began to do a quick diagnose. Immediately checked the negative terminal, but it was still on nice and steady. Checked the positive and it was seemingly tight as well. Heres where it gets weird. Foot on brake and attempt to start? No go. Put the car into accessory mode first and let all the systems come online, suddenly I can start and the car acts completely normal. Managed to get it to the dealer and showed to them so they know I'm not going crazy. Went to move some stuff from rear to a loaner car, and the rear liftgate had no power. Had to manually lift and lower.

Initial impression from service manager was it may be security related. I have my doubts as there was no lights on the dash nor an alert message. I think it may be BCM related but who knows. Itll be getting looked at tomorrow so Ill be sure to keep all posted in case someone else comes across the same issue.
