does anyone make an aftermarket cold side cac pipe that is CARB compliant? this 16 work truck I am driving is on it's 3 ford pipe and it almost left me on the side of the road yesterday.
Rudy's diesel makes a CAC pipe replacement for a good price, and it's metal. Has bung for sensor mounting. Mine has been on the truck for years, and been thru several Commie-fornia emissions checks. I have a 2015

I was wondering about that, like how likely it would be to fail do to an aftermarket pipe. I was tempted to throw an H&S cold side pipe on and see what happens, but the last time I had a smog check the guy was poking his flashlight around the engine bay and through the wheel well. H&S says they have been in the process of CARB approval on their CAC pipe for over a year. This state is ridiculous.

I have a Rudy's on my truck but I don't live in California and even though NY is a CARB state, they don't do visual inspections (not that I'm aware of as my buddy inspects my truck) or emissions in this area. NYC and the surrounding area is another story. The troopers or the DOT may be a different story as well but I don't use my truck for commercial use. I don't blame Bart for wanting a CARB certified pipe on a company truck for CYA reasons. Last thing he would need is get **** ed with while in the state for a job.
Been following your DPF issue. I hope the EGR fixes it!
