trans. issue, is it slipping? why

trans. issue, is it slipping? why? When first putting it into drive there's no power for 1 second. After leaving driveway each morning it works great. Fluid level is ok, still looks pink. Don't know when last trans. filter change was done, should I start with that? I would think a trans.flush/ filter with that much mileage is a bad thing. Don't know any history, just purchased. No codes.

with out any details on mileage, engine, transmission type it’s nearly impossible to give any good advice.

how many miles since last transmission flush etc.

color of the fluid means nothing other than it’s present.

Thanks, I believe the signature is listed above showing all the truck info. I have no clue when last filter change was done. It started doing this about 200 miles after i purchased it.

Every morning i put it in drive and there's a one second delay to go forward. Temp out side is 60 degrees. Works good for the rest of the day, no delays.

Try letting it idle for a minute or two in park and see if the delay is still there.
