Made a rookie mistake, accidentally cross threaded the bolt for the bypass delete. For some reason was leaking after installation and tried tightening as much as possible and ended up cross threading the thread that’s in the transmission and the bolt
Anyone know the exact thread size or know of a kit that would help restore the thread?
When I took out the bolt a lot of metal shaving came along with the blot thread
Going to have to buy the diesel site bypass delete bolt since the stock one is no longer good either but would need a kit that would fix the thread that goes in the transmission

I can't help you with thread sizes but I will say that I hope your case is not cracked on that boss due to wedging that banjo bolt in there. I do know that it's a straight fine thread - not tapered like a pipe thread.

Would you happen to know the thread size of the bolt sold on Diesel site, can’t seem to find the specifications on it? That would help my find the right thread repair kit I would need to fix the thread on the transmission
Can’t help you with thread sizes but wanted to mention a couple things for thought.
You want to make none of those aluminum shavings end up inside the trans. #1 rule of auto trans is cleanliness. Chips/debris are not welcome inside the unit.
Mark K (and myself) do not recommend the bypassing delete. The bypass is there for a reason. I’ll share a screenshot of Mark’s words on the topic.
