6.0l glow plug issues
yes the plugs get no ohm reading after removing them and testing directly on the plug out of the engine. They were certainly not mushroomed the one day before when i put them in. Luckily all except one came out easily. The one I thought was stuck took a lot of messing with and eventually I got it but it took a lot of pulling with vice grips. What's even worse is I did this at work at midnight so no chance of running to get better parts.... so I had to put in another one of these new pieces of ***** that i still had into each cylinder. Immediately had the same code after replacing so they must have immediately mushroomed. The level of absolute garbage of these glow plugs is insane. 4 years ago when I bought these i paid 36 bucks for 8 plugs and both harnesses on ebay. I don't know what I was thinking lol 😆 😅 😂 lesson learned.
Sometimes OEM parts aren't cheap. GOOD aftermarket parts aren't cheap. However, when you compare the initial cost to your time and effort that you spend RE-DOING the job because of the $$ you tried to save by going the cheap route (Amazon, E-bay, Cooter's One-Stop Grub Hub/Gas Station/Injectors, etc.), you end up the loser in the long run!
Buy once - cry once, as they say!
