Well crap, I intended to start a new post and messed up and posted as a reply to my post below. In my defense I am 2 weeks younger than the president. I have for a year and a half been trying to find the source of my intermittant over boost problem. Today I did a visual inspection of the EBP sensor which if I read it correctly could be sending bad signals to the truck and causing an overboost. Attached is a picture laying on my back under the truck. You can see the tube clearly and there is a gap of 1/16 inch or more between the tube nut and the down pipe. DOES THAT LOOK LOOSE TO YOU? BTW, I had a local shop replace my exhaust manifolds a moth or two before this problem began. I'm thinking maybe a tech forgot to tighten the EBP tube.

Hmmm, I don't know what that exposed bolt is. I'll see it I can figure it out. The other item was not loose. I was able to rig a crows foot a ratchet and a short cheater bar together and try to tighten it. It was TIGHT and just to be sure I loosened it a bit, It turned freely so I secured it and called it a day.
