POSTED THIS ON THE 94-97 FORUM BY ACCIDENT YESTERDAY(NOT PAYING ATTENTION). DID THE FOIL DELETE SATURDAY AND FOUND THE IC TUBE CRACKED, MUST HAVE BEEN THAT WAY SINCE NEW. MUST HAVE LOSIN' AT COUPLE POUNDS OF BOOST AT LEAST.

The best reason yet for doing the foil delete. Inspect IC tube.

 

Robin....I've found that if you would reverse your wish list....#1 and #2 shouldn't be a problem......just do #3 first. :-)

Were there any signs or indications on the foil now that you look back on it to indicate there was a problem? I'm mostly interested for all of us (or the few of us) that haven't done the foil delete.

 

Since You found the crack and fixed it. Have You noticed any change in boost, power, and MPG's. Just courious.

 

Yes, Now That Think Of It There Were Signs. There Was Dirt&oil On The Foil But Thought It Was From The P.s. Pump Seeping. Of Course That Was Before I Did The Ccv Mod. I Do See The The Difference In Boost But Not Really Any Power, It Feels The Same. Surprised At How Much You Can Hear The Turbo, But I Like It!
