Newbie with Inline

How do you read Compresstion Ratio?
And whats better, Carb or fuel injection. Also,How do you remove the speed governor on a '89 EFI 300 Inline 6?
We have a HIGH brigde here and I find my self pushing the accelorator almost to the floor just to get over it.

Compression ratio should be calculated.

In my oppinion EFI has better fuel milleage, but carburated are easier to fix on the way, cheaper and needs less han labor.

Governor is composed by 4 basic parts:

Vacum motor
Electronic controller
Whell push buttons
Speed sensor

On diesel engines,you can go up bridges without giving the engine more fuel,I want the same with my Inline. Because like I said,Almost to the floor for a bridge is terrible. I thought that there wa a piece of hradware in the fuel system that controled all of the fuel.

Sorry, that kind of governor is used just in diesel engines. There is some kind of RPM control used on Power Take Applications, but it works just with tranny in Neutral or Park. Speed control works above 35 miles, too fast, isn't it?
