E4od compatibility question

I have a 97 7.3 4x4 and am likely in need of a tranny swap or rebuild. Would an e4od from 95 bronco 4x4 be direct fit or easily adapted ? Possibly can get low mileage for good price. Thanks.

The bronco tranny will not bolt up to your diesel, as it has a different bolt pattern. You will need a tranny from another 95-97 diesel 7.3 truck.

Ok. I assume bell housing is different. Likely internals are different ratio too anyways. Thanks for quick reply.

All E4ODs had the same ratios. The cases are different to bolt to different engines.
