Shift lever OD switch help
99 F250 V10 4x4. Hopped in the truck this am, fired it up and the OD off light is on. I thought that's weird as I dont recall hitting the button. Hit the button and nothing, the light stays on. Put it in park, shut it down and fire it back up and its normal. But I see that depending on how I wiggle the shift lever I can make the OD off light come on. I assume I have a short in the wiring thru the shift lever tube??? Any help would be great.

Remove the column shrouds to inspect and repair.
