items inside the heat core area.
I all, I'm rebuilding a 73 F100. my current task was getting the heatcore/fan assembly box out from under the dash - not really much of an effort - came out with minor gynastics. What I ahve notices and have no idea, only guesses. I know there is wire that go to what I call a spring assembly, 2 diffent spring looking things which i guessing are some kind of heater coil things. Can some one take a shot and let me know what;s up with these things.

No AC. Just a base model. on the outside of the box (the whole heater core/fan/ductwork box) there is a three prong connection. On the inside and it sits right by the heater core is 2, what appear to be different resistor type coils of wire or in other words they resemble 2 different size springs. One more tighter wound coils and the other a little bit looser wound coils.
