This is my '63 Falcon under dash photo which has no heater/defrost assembly. I assume that one existed at one time. I also have a '66 Econoline which has heater/defrost/fan controls built into the dash and complete underdash assembly box with heater core and dampers. The Falcon doesn't even have the defroster vent boots. Looking for advice/suggestions for maybe an aftermarket solution or leads for the OEM heater box that's apparently missing. Thanks.
The 1961-1964 Econolines and Falcon buses has the heater mounted on the floor. There is probably a plate covering the opening in the floor under your mat. You can swap in a 1965-1967 heater that hangs under the dash. They show up from time to time on eBay and swap meets.
For the defroster vents, the funnel part that is screwed to the bottom of the dash, use the Rigid #VT2510, 2-1/2 in. Wet Nozzle Squeegee Accessory. This is the wet nozzle for the Rigid brand shop vac.
You have to drill two holes in it, but replaces the original cardboard vent and will probably outlast all of us. You might need to notch it a little to clear the windshield wiper arm on the driver side.

That is brilliant information! Someone was selling what I presume are 3D printed ones for the econoline on eBay. They may be the same or may work, but I bet the vacuum parts are cheaper and tougher.
