Hello,
so I'm currently restoring my 77 f250 highboy and am currently in the middle of a rewiring job using a painless performance kit. I was looking at the old harness and I noticed a wire with some sort of plug dangling down under the cab and traced it back to a single pin connector near the brain box that appears to not have anything to attach to in the area. The wire is green and I was hoping someone could identify what it's for. Pics attached for reference. Thanks!
This piece was under the cab. This was close to the brain box and power steering cylinder
The top one looks like a plug for the "lock" light used on trucks with full-time 4WD. It seems that the factory used the same wiring harness in all these trucks, regardless of what options they were equipped with.
