23 Orders closed in June. You can only order a 24 and they will start building them Oct 2.
The online order guide will not update until a day or two before they start building that model year.
But there are very few changes between the two years
Build one online using the 23 website and know the 24's will cost about a $1000 more

My dealer whom I've bought 6 vechiles from over the last 15 yrs won't commit to a price for trade in. Say's the market is too crazy.li Wants me to order then will give a trade price on delivery. If I don't want that deal I can walk. He said he'd have no problem selling the truck. I thought the market has leveled out.. I really need to know what it would cost me payment wise to go from my 19 f350 Lariet 6.7 to an xlt 7.3 F350. I don't have an open check book. With all past buys they did that for me. I hate to try to find a dealer out of the area who would and would they as well? 3 months from order date couldn't effect the trade that much I would think with the economy now?

Wow. If I found one on the lot that would be great but as usual they have much more options I don't need and or options I need. I was going to buy a 2022 but couldn't find one with a step tailgate which is a must.

They'd like you to order the truck and not take delivery because it is one more that they can mark up and sell without using their dealership order quota.

Would they give you a theoretical offer if you bought today? If not, find a truck on their lot, pretend you're interested, ask them for the trade in value for your truck. Then have a change of heart & decide to order a 24. Then you'll at least have a current as of today trade in value and when the 24 gets delivered see by how much they have changed their offer. If they lower the offer and you don't like it, walk. If you like it, pull the trigger on the 24. I always swing by CarMax and ask for an offer also. Good for 7 days. I've had 2 dealers now raise their low-ball offers to at least match CarMax.

It is understandable that they wouldn't want to be held to a trade offer when used car values are slipping down. Getting a quote as if you were trading today isn't a bad idea.
IMO you should be looking at the new truck price separate from the trade offer anyway. Is this purchase dependant on the dealer taking your existing truck on trade, or would you be OK selling it instead?

Wouldn't you do the same thing?
