V10 Airbox Mod

Was doing some PM on the Ex this weekend. Cleaned the MAF and new air filter.

Ended up cutting the 2" snout off the air box and running 4” silicone tubing through the the factory location after i opened up the mounting plate with a grinder. IAT look good give this a try and see how it runs.

All press fit for now. Going to see how it does. May fab up a 4" velocity stack into the bracket and clmap on the silicone coupler.

No problems so far IAT look close to ambient. Drove it our lake place and back with the boat and did well.

Havent had a chance to look at MAF reading to see if it picked up any lb/min.

i would think the IAT impact at speed would be fine, but the IAT sitting still would be the one to watch.

Mine runs a little warm when sitting still if its allowed to sit running for 20+ minutes, but as long as your not doing that the temps are fine.
