So today after buying a boat (perfect timing am I right?) I stopped to get fuel before I went home. After filling up and starting her I put in drive and she wouldn’t move. I began to push more on the accelerator with barely anything happening. I turned off the truck and started over after about 30ish seconds to see if idk maybe that would reset something or just make my problems go away. But yeah no it didn’t, so I decided to move the lever to 1st and she began to engage and drive so I put her in 2nd and she kept going and then back to drive and she shifted into 3rd and so on. Only thing was I believe either she was slipping out of of OD or the TC was not wanting to completely lock and was unlocking idk man. It kept happening and I was an hour from home in Tennessee with no phone reception so full sent it all the way home. She kept doing this until pretty much my last stop sign/stop light when I decided to see if she wanted to act right so I kept it in drive and came to a stop and went to accelerate and she acted normal the rest of the way home. Has anyone experienced this? Is it a sensor? Tranny on the way out the door? Someone help me out. Wife’s gonna kill me after I just bought this boat and now this.
