Engine Dies when Clutch is Pressed
I own a '95 F-350 with the 5.8L (351 Windsor) 2x4. When I press the clutch pedal the engine dies. I have replaced the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS, Rear Differential Mounted) and the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC). When I disconnect the battery and ensure the truck is fully dead It works for a little while after I reconnect the battery, then reappears.
What do you advise? Could the Clutch Pedal Position Switch be an issue?

Do you depress the clutch pedal when starting the engine? Does it start and idle properly? Maybe the ignition lockout is connected backwards? You should have to fully depress the clutch to start the engine. It would seem to be an electrical issue.

I do press the clutch to start the engine. It dies unless I quickly remove my foot from the clutch (in neutral). Then it idles low and returns to normal until I press the clutch again, which kills the engine. I will look into ignition lockout. Thank you!
