I have a 2012 with a grill guard but I can still remove the grill to access the head lights, my grill guard has removable headlight guards I need to pull off to remove the headlights. What's your concern ?
As the guys above said, a brush guard (as I call it anyway) doesn't PREVENT the headlight housing from being removed, but makes it more difficult. Most that have anything directly in front of the headlights, the piece in the way is removable. If the guard itself is in the way at all, then it's just a few bolts and the whole thing can be removed. Usually with some help.
If you're concerned about your snazzy new aftermarket headlights being stolen, these MAY help, only because thieves will have to weigh how much time they want to risk before they get caught.
If you're concerned about being able to mess with them yourself, yes it'll be harder, but not impossible.
