The machine shop and local builder pointed out these 2things about my heads. Just asking if he is giving me a line of bull or is it something. They said these are double hump and "X" heads. Is that really something?
Double hump.

Something about being heavier and can take more revs or something like that.
I think they're on crack. there is a camel hump ( double hump ) small block chevy head for like an LT-1 but nothing like that in a Ford I've ever heard of.
The only "Double hump X" heads I've ever heard of are super rare early 60's higher HP/FI 327 heads with the casting #461 and a "X" cast into the bottom of an exhaust runner. Not to be confused with the std. #461 head.. I have a set my father bought decades ago before much better aftermarket heads became readily available.
