Food for thought...

The title is a bit on the cluck bait side, but as someone that keeps a vehicle for 10 - 20+ years, this article points out something that I should be aware of living in northeast GA. Perhaps the solid state battery technology on the cusp of being released will alleviate this more than the current go to battery technology.

LOL I wouldn't place too much thought into anything that comes from that website. It's closest cousin being the onion. Gotta remember, most EV battery packs are liquid cooled. The one thing they mentioned that I do agree with is the heaters in ev's. Those with heat pumps do much better than those without yet why are they discussing heaters when the article is about summer heat? Hmmm. Yeah like I said, the onion's closest cousin.

Just to add a snippet from a Tesla model 3 manual....



If we hit ambient 140º for any amount of time, the least of our worries will be EV's.

Jalopnik is about as Anti-ICE and EV-friendly as it gets.
