Leaf Springs
Well typical old man memory I took my leaf springs apart to check and bead blast, got them all clean and purty with Por-15 and chassis black paint. In process of reassembly and where I thought I kept them fairly in order didn't think what with all flipping and turning ugh!!!! Is there any paticular way they face? Tried looking at phone and camera alas no pics. Also it has a total of 8 leafs from the big one wit hanger bushings down to some just flat leafs. Gonna research some more I do believe these were original when I took apart some of the leafs had a round rubber insert between them, checked with an old timer he laughed and said good luck finding them but, he told me they used old inner tubes and a little rtv to hold? So far doing okay hard finding parts and when I took out my rear axle it was a 9inch but I think it had been repaired or replaced the axle under all the dirt and grease was black but the chunk was an orange color. One thing I did find out the front 5 bolt thing-a-majiggy had a seal fron a 57-59 biggg seal, Not sure what has happened up here I had started a build comment and can't find it?
