Old vs. new

I’m thinking about buying a 24 F150 with the 5.0. I had a 13 F150xl 5.0 regular cab 2 wheel drive that I traded for a new Tacoma in 2020. My question is are there any differences between the older coyotes and the present day motors?

Basic motor is mostly the same but they have direct injection and more HP now to name some of the bigger differences. It should be a noticeable difference.
