Hey, I have a 2011 ford e250 100,000mil. I put a 2inch spacer lift on it with 31" tires new ball joints, stearing rods, and alignment. Now i am going to replace the front and rear shocks. I don't do any towing I hit the dirt maybe 5 times a year . It's mainly a daly driver. Was looking at bilstein hd or just stick with kyb, Gabriel or motocraft. So I guess my question is do I need a higher rated shock because the 2 inch lift and bigger tires? And what should I go with?

They have the stock motocraft shock. They are dented and rusted. They have 1000,000 miles on them and i just did a lot of work to the front end I figured I would replace the shocks. Also I put the lift and bigger tires was hope it would improve the overall ride.
What pressure do you have in the tires? 45-50psi is plenty for an empty van.. if that is essentially how it's being used. If that creates an issue with the tire pressure monitors get a copy of Forscan and change the settings.. that is what I did. FWIW the OEM shocks are pretty darn good, many of the aftermarket shocks don't handle the Ford TTB/TIB as well and end up being either too stiff or way too uncontrolled, or fail prematurely.
