I bought a ‘94 F-150 that appears to have a 4” lift on it. However they still have factory shocks on it, does anyone in the group know what length shocks I need or how/where to measure to get the appropriate ones ? This what I currently have and the shock barely touches the mount.
A good option is Bilstein 5100 shocks. Bolt on and longer. You can get them for 4" lift or 6" lift. You might have a 6" lift? Can you measure the axle pivot drop bracket length? Usually easiest on the passenger side beam's mount.
If you're up for some fab work, you can modify the spring buckets to use F-250 shock mounts, thereby switching to double eyelet shocks, and going significantly longer. The shock won't limit axle droop this way, makes for a lot of travel.
