My hart is sad today, as I signed in today to read about Sean's passing. He has helped me and many others on so many occasions. I knew he was in bad health. We messaged many times on different subjects. He was a fine man. We have lost one of our most knowledgeable contributors and a good friend.
May he rest in piece, and may the lord give him another yahiko in Heaven.
(Thank you Jack for the info)
Man I really hate that. He was an awesome dude. I myself haven't been on the site for a good while. Life has been busy. I do miss the need to get on here and figure out how to fix the 6.0 diesel. God Bless you Sean!!!
Sean was one of the best as all have said. He was kind, thoughtful, spontaneous, and willing to help a shade tree hack from Oregon without a whimper. Way to young for this to happen. I owe him a lot, as I do to the rest of the members here.
Just came upon this quote from Sean in a 2018 post: "It's all money and you can't take it with you so you may as well spend it while you have the choice on where it's going. Vs the people in the will or the government taking there bite out of the estate."
This was some terrible news and it took me a little while to get my brain wrapped around it and post something.
Sean was a good guy who will be remembered well. Super helpful to me and plenty of other folks as we all know. We sent a few parts back n forth, of course all the manuals on CD I still refer to sometimes, and even help on the phone. He was an aviation guy and we talked about that stuff as well. I was aware he was jammed up some but we didn’t talk much about medical stuff. I’ll never see a yellow 6.0 without immediately thinkin of him. RIP Sean, you will be missed. I do have an email address I’d share (PM) if anyone would care to send a message off into the ether. We mostly sent aircraft pictures and videos but I know he was active on it.
I was trying to find contact info to send a blind email expressing everyone here's condolences and suggesting that, if his family felt it appropriate, a quick post on FTE by them would be well received and provide closure for many people here.
This is sad news. I have communicated and dealt with Sean. He was a true help to anyone who needed it. RIP Sean and Thank You for everything you have done for all of us, you will always be remembered.
