Best value for injectors

2002 ex 7.3l

Folks, just installed the sump (had the 1/4 tank issue previously and ran out of gas) and now I’ve had rough idle for a while. Low power etc.

no codes, so I grabbed a laser thermometer and I have one exhaust pipe a good 40-50 degrees cooler on the driver side. Assume it’s a bad injector. Truck has 234,000 miles.

questions: I’m a cheapskate, should I just do the one injector? The whole bank? Or everything. full disclosure, I bought 8 glow plugs about 3 years ago, and only replaced the one that was bad (I’m lazy af and was on vacation). Now I have 7 spares waiting for their time.

also where should I buy from? Found this site, are the injectors any good?

https://dieselcare.store/products/full-set-of-8-refurbished-injectors-for-7-3l-ford-powerstroke?variant=39805200531646&network=x&devic e=m&keyword=&campaign=17999019585&adgroup=&gclid=C j0KCQjwnMWkBhDLARIsAHBOftqi6fUjJTYCVXTIeckNnTdOHuw ZuORvnyfxXWzse6Yj6hZCfKUrC6oaAgcuEALw_wcB

ill take any recommendations and appreciate it tons

If you are a cheapskate than do yourself a favor and stay away from all remanufactured injectors and only buy 100% new Alliant injectors.

the 7.3 injector only has 1 wear part snd that is the poppet valve seat, the remanufacturing process does not and can not replace this as it is machined into the injector body, the failure rate with reman injectors is absurdly high and most likely you will be be replacing your injectors soon enough, Even the most expensive reman units from motorcraft are remanufactured.

Alliant built the injectors for international/ford snd is still the only company who makes brand new 7.3 injectors.

fwiw, you can replace just your failed failed injector, common practice

they can be purchased from Riff Raff or DieselOrings.com
