I have a ' 91 F150 that I put a new Genuine FORD Speedo Cable in. Does this new cable come with lube on it? If not, what is the very best to use. I notice that at high speeds this new cable tends to jump around?
The new cable you installed was a cable and housing, right? (if no new housing, it might still bounce)
They have little to no lube to start with
I also use white lithium and run some down the housing with the cable pulled out
Then I add more lube as I re insert the cable into the housing
Try repositioning the cable with no sharp bends and no kinks.
