SD wiring
We have three 6L Super Duties in the family '04-'06. Each has three wires on the upper side of the fire wall by the driver side hood hinge. The colors are red, yellow, dark blue, and black. Can anyone tell me what option these wires are for? They have no terminations on them.

If these are the 'capped off' wires (they should have little rubber pieces over the ends of them), then they're the firewall pass-thru wires that Ford put in all Super Duties. They're meant to help you install front-end accessories (winch, plow, extra lights, etc.) without having to drill through your firewall. If you look under the dash you should find the other ends of those wires capped off and tied together somewhere - it's been a hot minute since I've had that gen of truck so I don't remember exactly where.
My '99, '03, and '04 all had those wires. They'd been used on the '99 before I bought it.
