Intercooler Help
I have a 2002 7.3 F350. I just put a CSF intercooler in my truck but the driver side outlet does not align with my pipe. I can’t move the pipe over to align because the pulleys are in the way. I was wondering if there is a way to make this connection work. Thank you.

Are you sure you installed the CAC tube properly. Believe it or not, the driver side tube is capable of fitting either way around.
Also, welcome to the FTE!

Yours is the first one of this brand I've seen on this forum. If you're certain that you're not trying to install the pipe backwards (which is a common mistake), you'll probably have to call them Monday.

I did not remove the pipe. I just detached from the old intercooler.

Then it appears "CSF" needs to receive a call on Monday.

The above two intercoolers are for a 6.0L, but that's besides the point.
The point is, both pictured intercoolers appear to be the exact same piece, apart from the black paint and the stylish CSF logo in the top photo.
There is one more difference.
Price.
$325 for the black painted version.
$135 for the unpainted version.
The point: I'm thinking of a word begins with C, and ends with a vowel.
Clue: That word is NOT "consistency."

I see quiet a few difference in the cast pieces. There is only so many shapes you can make a intercooler. But there not the same pieces.
