Sanderson! Yes, thank you! I was on there website yesterday looking, have to wait till Tuesday to call them. FF2's, are they considered shorties? I can't use them do to the engine I have from Phoenix engines, they said it will not work with the EFI carb. I did see the FF9's and waiting to talk with Sanderson to see if they are considered long pipes. I will update yinz later! Thanks again for the input.
Not sure if this helps but a friend gave me a set of BBK headers for a 1981 F150 with a 351, I have the TCI front and rear suspension on my stock frame, my neighbor bent me up a 2 1/2” exhaust which is nice and tight to chassis instead of hanging down low, even have the master cylinder with booster in the stock location
Great pics, just looking at them gave me some other Ideas! Like the master kill switch! I'm trying to figure out a place to hide mine as a anti theft deterrent along with the ESTOPP emergency brake system!

I'm not sure why they would say you can't use short headers as it has little affect on performance and 0 on fuel delivery .
I always disconnect the batteries on my old relics heard to many horror stories and my garage is attached to the house, battery is in it’s stock location with the carpet installed and didn’t want to have it in the interior of the truck and have to redo all the cables for the battery, I utilized one of the heater motor bolts and it’s right next to the selinoid so I’m happy with it’s location
Hello all, Help me with this situation. I have 15x8 rims with 255/60R15 tires front and back. My problem is I have TCI pro touring frame with a 3 inch drop. The truck sits way too low and would like to bring it up a at least two inches. Front looks good but the back tires are almost touching the inner fenders. I screwed up listening too the body shop who did the work on my cab and he told me when I went to pick up the truck that he told me the wrong size but said he would buy the tires off me at a lower price, that didn't sit well with me! Anyway I need a higher and narrower tire to raise my truck and still look meaty on the 15x8 rims that are already painted and ready too go. Any help would greatly be apriciated.

Congrats on your retirement. I went out 9 years ago and love it. As a matter of fact, it’s the best job I ever had. As for your fuel tank and battery upgrades, you can search past threads. They posts are plentiful and thorough.
I would make the necessary adjustments to your suspension before changing wheels/tires...looks like you have a 4-link? If so, dial up your coilovers or replce them with taller units.
Hello all! Here's my next delema! The grill is attached but when I started to put the headlight buckets in and wire I can not find the hardware to secure the buckets on the grill!? I have looked in the FoMoCo chassis parts and accessories catalog but can't find the j- nuts and screws to install as required. I think I found them in the LMC catalog but not sure if it's the hardware for attaching the grill to the radiator/air deflectors, any input would be greatly appreciated. I will attatch pics.
As you can see there are four places for the j-nuts and screws In the first picture.l added these other pictures due to the fact I was supposed to a while ago.
