Anyone know what this warning light indicates? I have looked in the online manual and in dash manual with no luck. It appeared while driving and would turn off when I stopped ant a traffic light, but would return when i accelerated back to highway speeds. However, it went away completely when i stopped for a few mins and finally restarted the engine. I am Assuming it is an automatic maintenance indication for the diesel emissions, but I cannot find this in any Ford literature or owners manual.Engine had about 100 miles and now has 1000 and the light has not returned since.
I have the same light on my dash. It came on after I went into vehicle settings and turned off all the nannies I could. Go into your settings and see if you have reverse brake assist turned off.
I saw this too; came on while I was on some real dirty forest service roads and then noticed it was off later when back on the highway...As I was on my return trip i noticed it again.
I checked the online manuals for the 22 & 23 SuperDuty, 150, and 150 Lighting, I didn't see anything so here is my guess. Did you disable Reverse Brake Assist? Try turning it back on and see if the indicator turns off.
Thank you, that was exactly what I was looking for. This page is a great resource. Now to talk to the dealer to see what conditions would automatically make it happen.
