CEL when downshift under load

CEL when downshift under load
My CEL comes on when my truck downshifts going up a long hill or steep hill when under a load then after regular driving for 5-10 mins CEL goes off nothing else changes no performance changes. Any thoughts would help thanks

I you get the light, you have a code...
Not hard to do a bit of reading here and see that you need a scanner. Not the corner store thing or internet thing from Fleabay or Cramazon.
Get FORScan and the reader they tell you to get.
After you have FORScan you can find your answer with a code.
Also be specific on your truck...

My fist thought is the CEL is brought on by an overboost condition, but you didn't mention a chip or a "defuel" scenario.
As mentioned above, check the DTC's and go from there.
