I live on a dirt road that has some washboard areas and when driving over these areas, both my drivers door and passenger door will flex to the point that they are literally banging against the body of the truck. My wife thought maybe she had not shut the door completely but that is not the case. It also seems to be worse with my 5th wheel and 3,800lbs of pin weight.
Anyone have this issue? The dealer of course "can not duplicate" the issue. I did see a YouTube video of a guy who used some GM door strikers that have a thicker bar and that has seemed to help my drivers door...going to install one on the passenger side today.
It seems unfortunate that on a 100K FORD truck I have had to install GM part to fix it.
My brother-in-law and I were in New Mexico a few years ago chasing cutthroats when we hit some washboards that were sending my truck sideways at any speed over about 5 mph. He claimed he could see blue sky between the door and the body at one point.... My truck was less than 2 weeks old at the time . I've found lower tire pressure helps a lot. My tremor now has Fox 2.5" remote resi's to help with it too.

I believe him! My Dodge 3500 would do it to - but it had to be a very rough patch. The Ford seems to be very easily triggered.
Loosen this bolt. Top hinge door side. Move door a 16th to an 8th of an inch. Tighten bolt. Took chatter out of my door. It adds pressure to the door seal.
