Reverse braking assist while towing?
Also, it just keeps beeping like when you're about to back into something even with the trailer hooked up. Finally found the setting when getting back home in the screen, settings for the truck.
Read some comments about 2 foot driving but don't recall having left foot near the brake. Towing isn't on the shifter button anymore and assumed the truck detected the trailer when the electrical plug was plugged in. Going to try and dig up the info in the manual but no good if that's how it works with a trailer hooked up.
Update: From the manual.
- Reverse brake assist does not function when you connect a trailer. Operation resumes when you disconnect the trailer.

One would think it's smart enough to turn off when a trailer is connected

Reverse braking assist turns off when a trailer is detected. For whatever reason your truck doesn’t know that a trailer is attached to the truck. I would look for a wiring problem with the trailer.
