Code 44
I code read my 1990 F150 4X4 and got a KOER code of 13 and 44.
13 is RPM out of range (low) and 44 is thermactor air system fault.
Would the Code 44 cause really bad fuel mileage?
Would cracked exhaust manifolds(2) create this code?
I have both
Also, I have an alternate fuel system installed on this vehicle. natural gas witch is plenum fed fuel. I can switch from gasoline to NG on the fly. FYI in case it involves the above problem.
