I’m wanting to add an aftermarket tachometer to an 88 F250 that didn’t come stock with one. If anyone could shed some light on how to wire this up I would appreciate it! It’s a C6 trans if that makes a difference.
Just did mine this weekend. Signal wire goes to the tan/yellow wire on the coil. Mine is a 95 so your color may be different. It's the coil negative. red wire I went to the washer/wiper fuse (keyed hot)
white went to the dash lights fuse. Black to ground. It was pretty simple. Set the switch on back of tach to 8cyl.
