A/C condensor cleaning
It's been several years since I've been on the forum and can't find a discussion that was posted about how a member cleaned his condensor by removing the passenger side battery and lossened up several other items to be able to remove the cover to clean. My a/c doesn't work very well under load and have had it checked by my dealer who says the pressures are all within specs. Prior to me owning it it was a work truck so I'm thinking the condensor is caked with dirt.( at least I hope so). I would appreciate it if someone could respond with a link to that post.

Not sure about an 01, but on my 06 the evaporator was caked with dirt. Removing the passenger side fenderwell gives easy access to the evaporator box. It splits in half so it can be checked & rinsed with a hose. My 06 was originally a farm truck and spent a LOT of time running up and down an almond orchard. Dirt & dust everywhere.

My 12 was a working truck also. I was able to get my hand and water hose on the backside of the condenser and blasted more junk than I could believe out, even though I couldn't get a straight shot.
