Key doesn't work, AutoStart does
Got a weird one on my 2006 F350. The key doesnt engage the started. I get the accessories going and when i turn the key to start the power dims but no starter. I do get a click from a relay. With auto start, it fires right up like normal. My question is what components does the key start use that the autostart bypasses?

The issue was the ignition switch. Replaced it and all is well. The issue started as batteries were going out so maybe it took the switch with it because I was putting off the batteries. After the ignition switch I believe the remote start has the same circuit to activate the starter.
