If you do a search for "Protection to the 3rd Power" the results include electronic rust inhibitors. Check your sales paperwork. You may have paid for some type of rust or corrosion protection system. Are there any other markings on the device that are not shown in the photo?
That's pretty sad. Seriously crappy installation and a "rust inhibitor" on an aluminum bodied truck. A visit to the dealer would be on my short list of to-do items, especially if I did not purchase said "option".
