I have a 2013 F150. The paint is bubbling around the fenders and rust is starting to show it's ugly head. I'm thinking about throwing on some fender flares to cover it up. I'd like to grind or sand the rusty areas a bit and put something on there to slow the rust if possible. I'm assuming the new flares would cover up all my work, so it wouldn't need to be pretty...just slow the rust process a bit.
