TBC Trailer Break Control Fault

2005 F250 Super Duty, for about a week now it's been showing a TBC fault in the dashboard. It is the trailer braking module. I saw some YouTube videos on the subject. Most of them say that I have a bad connection, and that I should solder the connections. Has anyone heard of this or, has done this let me know. Or maybe you know how I can just disconnect the system entirely. Until I can afford to get a new one. Thanks for everyone's time.

Mine did that but I was towing a trailer with some extremely sketchy wiring at the time. I cleared the codes and it hasn't thrown a code since then.

There's a standard SAE type connector under the truck box, you can get a new 7 way on Amazon that just snaps in at this point if you're concerned about the wires to the 7 way. There's a 7/4 available as well, it also just plugs into the spot.
