A while back I had a no start condition. I lead myself the a faulty IPR. I installed a new Motorcraft IPR and thought I had it solved. Then maybe 3 days later I was at the neighbors...no start. Hooked up AE everything looked good. Changed the fuel filter, started. Then then went though and rebuilt the fuel bowl.
Today stopped at a couple of stores, had a minor extended crank but it started. The at my sisters for an early Easter dinner, no start.
Now don't get after me too bad, but i unhooked the GP solenoid and sprayed some ether on the air filter. I ran on ether for maybe 10 seconds. I turned the key to off, then tried to start it...and it did.
Drove it home and put it in the garage. Hooked up AE tried to start it. Had good voltage, good rpm's, ICP of 2000 and IPR duty cycle of 30%
I ran a buzz test, things sounded good, but pulled the following codes P1663, P1667, P1668.
Looking for some help as I need this truck for a trip on April 22.
I did some searching on the forum, seems one person had the IDM relay (under the hood) go bad. I swapped the IDM relay with the blower motor relay....starts now.
