History, installed new tune, and riffraff ocr. The highest tune is over 100. I am not going to leave it on this high, just testing.
Now I'm getting a P1211. Not all the time, but often enough. Short drive hard I might not get one.
yesterday I had on hot idle IPR at 35%. Today it is at 11%.
I am seeing spikes in the icp that don't seem to match rpm or IPR.
in one run I saw a psi of 3059, and a ipr of 37%. I try to save these but I have no idea where they are saving.
Before I go testing fuel pressure does this a sticky IPR?
1211 is a very common code with a hot tune and stock hpop when you get down on it. Stock hpop can't maintain the icp psi the tune is calling for. Likely there isn't anything wrong.
Thank you, good to know it's common. I dropped it back to 90 for more testing.
still seems strange yesterday my idle was in the 30ish%, and today it's 11. I don't know if this was happening before the tune, it has ran fine before and after.
No other symptoms other than erratic sensor readings? I can think of 3 possible scenarios, dirty/sticking IPR, ICP failing reporting incorrect data, or the IPR is finding ground on it's own. If the key is on that connector is hot and the PCM controls it through the ground side of the circuit. So realistically any kind of short to ground between the valve and the PCM would fire the solenoid.
