Very interesting video, I had read a few articles on how these worked when I ran into some at my past job, but had never seen this video. We used these to mount equipment to wind turbine nacelle roofs.

Here one from 10 years ago done by Nord Lock. They have been used on Volvo truck for quite some time and have a good history. If I remember, it's the cost that hasen't made them more popular in this continent. There's another video that does other comparisons too.
