Forscan numbers ?
What I found was the sensor was full of exhaust buildup ....which I cleaned out with no problem with brake fluid and a fine pick not hurting the inside.
The tube was also cleaned and it appeared not to be that clogged.
I went ahead and reinstalled both and it appears the EBP reading was the same prior to cleaning. Below are my for scan numbers KOEO and engine on.
Are my numbers ok or is the sensor bad?
In order to get a true and accurate reading, you must display EBP, MAP and BARO with the engine OFF and the ignition ON with a COLD engine. Early in the morning before starting the truck is a great time to do this. The readings should be within .5 PSI of each other. The oddball is suspected bad sensor or poor conditions.
Your EBP seems a bit high, but I will reserve judgement until the three PID's are displayed.
been here all of the time just in the background absorbing knowledge but thank you.
I will get those numbers posted sometime tonight when it’s the slightest cooler but still hot here in south Florida anytime of the day.
thanks Again got your reply and assistance.
Below is this mornings (cold engine) forscan numbers as requested. What I did noticed yesterday that while using the truck more the ebp-a did go down. Maybe it needed to get the brake cleaner out of the sensor. The numbers now look to be normal.
Thank you for your help...
